Nearly everything we eat and drink has some undesirable parts to it: stems, seeds, pits, fuzz, hair, skin, rind, fat, bone; need I go on.Coffee also has substances that simply taste bad. Chemex coffee filters do what they are supposed to do -- filter coffee so that as much coffee flavor as possible gets through, without unwanted overtones. No other filters really work well with a Chemex pot, so for those of us who are hooked on Chemex, they are the only way to go.

Chemex coffee filters are the filters needed to use for the chemex carafe.In my opinion, and I have been drinking coffee since I was 13yrs old,and have tried and used many different coffeemakers and espresso machines throughout the years, this is the BEST.I did experiment with the other filters, as I was out and waiting for these. I had to use 2 and the full body flavor of the coffee wasn't there entirely as it is with the chemex filters. They are also great for any other coffeemaker, I am sure. I highly recommend these, there are many in a box, and are perfect for that wonderful cup of coffee anytime during the day.
